Izzi developed a passion for directing towards the end of her career at The Theatre School. She was fortunate enough to direct Duality Theatre’s first production and fell in love with the craft. She credits her Acting and Ensemble-based theatre background to her unique style as a director. Informed by her experience both on and off stage, Izzi King brings a holistic approach to her work as a director. She aims to create a space where artists are challenged and able to be freely and creatively themselves. Izzi uses an ensemble-based, collaborative approach in her productions.
